Rumor: Apple to Delay iPhone 5s Production for Larger Display (AAPL)
- Updated: July 17, 2013
According to Bloomberg, Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) may delay the debut of the iPhone 5s until the end of the year in order to include a larger 4.3 inch retina display, according to a piece in the Commercial Times.
According to the Taiwanese newspaper, the original roll-out date was September or October but has since been pushed back.
MacRumors points out that this is unlikely to be true. Apple would have already finalized the design for the 5s months ago and the company is supposed to begin mass production later this month, according to AllThingsD.
