SodaSteam Price Target Slashed Monday

114450483_87ef30b539_oBarclays, in a note Monday morning, maintained its “Overweight” rating on SodaStream (NASDAQ: SODA) but slashed it’s price target from $100.00 to $55.00. However, this is hardly big news since the stock currently sits at $36.69.

In other news, SodaStream’s Super Bowl ad was reportedly rejected by Fox because of a line at the end where Scarlett Johansson says,  “Sorry Coke and Pepsi.” Fox didn’t like this because of it’s ongoing lucrative relationship with those two brands.

SodaStream is expected to cut the line in order to capitalize on the star power of Johansson.

Disclosure: At the time of this writing, Tim Parker had no position in SodaStream.
