Level 3 Communications Earnings Beat the Street

Level 3 Communications (NYSE: LVLT) reported Q2 EPS ex-items of $0.37 versus estimates of $0.30. EPS were up 436% year over year. Revenue came in at $1.63 billion–higher than consensus estimates of $1.60 billion. Sales were up 4% year over year.
