Just last week FBR Capital Markets analyst Dan Ives GoPro might be an acquisition candidate for Apple, sending the stock 11 percent higher, but today its back to reality and the gains GoPro enjoyed from those rumors have quickly faded away.

The stock has traded in a range over the past 52 weeks from $15.90 to $69.75 and has a market cap of $2.36 billion and a PE of 14. Trading volume has increased today as well with over 18 million shares trading hands.

A number of analysts have either downgraded the stock or issued bearish notes on the company in recent weeks. Baird recently predicted that GoPro’s woes would persist through 2016 and lowered its target to $18, and Piper Jaffray lowered its target to $15,. The average rating among those analysts remains the equivalent to buy, however, with a mean price target of $33.81.
