BREAKING- Moto X Phone to be Priced at $199

Motorola, now owned by Google (NASDAQ: GOOG) said today that its new Moto X phone will be priced at $199 with a two-year agreement.

The Moto X will be the first big product launch for Motorola since Google purchased the company. Google plans to put a lot of marketing dollars behind the phone that has gained a lot of hype in recent months. Google and Motorola are marketing it as a “build your own phone.” Customers can pick the colors and other details and according to Google, it will be completely assembled in the United States and ship in four days or less.

The phone will be offered by AT&T (NYSE: T), Sprint (NYSE: S), Verizon (NYSE: VZ) and Best Buy (NYSE: BBY) starting in late August.
