BREAKING- Dell May Delay Buyout Vote Again

The New York Post is reported that the Dell (NASDAQ: DELL) shareholder vote on Michael Dell and Silver Lake’s buyout proposal may, once again be delayed.

Shareholders are scheduled to vote on the $24.4 billion buyout offer Wednesday evening but speculation is that the vote will be pushed back to allow Dell to move forward the date of record for shareholders who are eligible to vote on the offer.

According to the Post, a significant shareholder said, “It’s an easier deal to get done if you change the record date.”
